What you will do

• Perform visual and dimensional checks on materials to ensure quality.
• Read blueprints and job orders to determine product specifications, tolerances, and tooling instructions.
• Position and secure tubing and workpieces in machinery.
• Adjust machine controls to set specified feeds, speeds, and depth of cut.
• Set up fixtures or feeding devices and initiate machining operations.
• Verify that machined workpieces strictly conform to technical specifications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-3 months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to stand and walk regularly, and lift/move up to 25 pounds.
• Close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
