What you will do

• Lead, manage, train, and mentor multiple crews conducting wetland and ecological surveys.
• Conduct wetland delineations according to the 1987 USACE Manual and regional supplements.
• Collect and analyze geospatial data using Trimble and ESRI products.
• Prepare technical reports and memos for project planning and permitting.
• Perform habitat, functional, vegetation, and wildlife surveys.
• Coordinate with project teams to verify field expectations and data requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Biology, Ecology, Soil Science, Hydrology, or Environmental Science.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in wetland delineations, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state wetland regulations and USACE methodology.
• Proficiency with Trimble, ESRI products, and MS Office.
• Must reside in the Midwest and possess a valid driver's license.
• Ability to conduct strenuous field work (10+ hours/day) in adverse conditions and travel 80-90% of the season.
