Salary: $245,000 – $330,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Lead a full-stack engineering team to scale the Seller Provided Support initiative.
• Own the technical strategy, execution, and business outcomes for post-purchase support tooling.
• Partner with Product, Design, and platform teams to design scalable systems integrating messaging, payments, and logistics.
• Drive wide adoption of support features to reduce refund rates and improve customer satisfaction.
• Mentor and grow a team of 6–12 engineers, ensuring high-quality delivery and speed.

Requirements

• 8+ years in product or platform engineering.
• 3+ years of experience managing teams of 6–12 engineers.
• Proven track record of building high-impact, end-to-end product experiences and scaling backend systems.
• Strong product instinct and ability to translate business problems into robust technical systems.
• Builder mindset with the ability to lead system design and drive holistic execution.
• Must live within commuting distance of NYC, SF, LA, or Seattle.

Nice to have

• Experience with messaging systems or support platforms.
• Familiarity with Python, Elixir, or Postgres.
