Location: Onsite in San Francisco, CA (5 days a week in office)

Salary: $115,000 – $135,000

What you will do

• Own and maintain the IT asset inventory for hardware (laptops, peripherals, AV) and software (SaaS licenses, enterprise tools).
• Manage the complete hardware lifecycle, including procurement, provisioning, tracking, refresh cycles, and secure disposal.
• Analyze software license utilization to identify redundant subscriptions and drive cost-saving consolidation.
• Partner with IT Engineering to implement and improve asset management tooling and automation.
• Maintain audit-ready records and develop standardized asset management policies and documentation.
• Generate reports on asset utilization and cost trends to provide visibility for IT leadership.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in IT asset management covering both hardware and software lifecycles.
• Hands-on experience with platforms such as ServiceNow ITAM, Oomnitza, or Snipe-IT.
• Strong understanding of software licensing models (per-seat, concurrent, enterprise agreements).
• Experience managing an Apple-heavy environment and using Apple Business Manager.
• Analytical skills for data extraction, report building, and numerical recommendations.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in San Francisco.

Nice to have

• Experience with Jamf or similar MDM platforms for hardware tracking.
• Familiarity with SaaS management platforms like Zylo, Productiv, or Torii.
• Background in IT procurement or vendor management.
• Experience supporting SOC 2 or similar compliance frameworks.
