What you will do

• Track and manage IT equipment, assets, and software for the US Air Force Technical Directorate.
• Serve as the Primary Equipment Control Officer (ECO), managing IT inventory in the official Air Force Inventory System of Record.
• Manage, generate, and distribute hand receipts for assigned assets and maintain a central records database.
• Track software licenses, manage renewals, and maintain installation records.
• Coordinate the physical logistics of IT hardware, including receiving, packing, and transporting equipment to various locations.
• Prepare annual hardware and software inventory reports and monthly utilization summaries.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in IT asset management.
• Experience with inventory management software tools such as ServiceNow.
• Hands-on experience handling IT hardware including laptops, printers, and small servers.
• Must hold Public Trust and have the ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Obtain DPAS/ELMS Property Administrator Certificate within 6 months of start date.
• Obtain CHAMP certification within 12 months of start date.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or higher.
• Military background.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with SharePoint and querying SQL databases.
