What you will do

• Lead end-to-end procurement activities including sourcing strategy development, RFP execution, and commercial negotiations.
• Partner with senior stakeholders up to Director level across Reader Revenue, Commercial Client, and Product & Technology groups.
• Develop sourcing strategies to optimize total cost of ownership and deliver sustainable value.
• Manage the contract lifecycle, including renewals, renegotiations, and risk mitigation.
• Utilize Coupa to manage sourcing and contracting processes.
• Conduct market research and supplier analysis to inform decision-making.

Requirements

• Proven procurement experience across marketing, professional services, or indirect spend categories.
• Strong experience sourcing and managing marketing agencies and consultancy providers.
• Ability to manage complex sourcing activities and commercial negotiations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
• Experience using procurement systems such as Coupa or similar platforms.
• Must be based in London to comply with the hybrid work model.

Nice to have

• Experience in events-related procurement (venues, hotels, AV, production).
• Exposure to technology, SaaS, or data supplier procurement.
• Experience working within a matrixed or global organization.
• Familiarity with P2P processes and procurement analytics.
