TL;DR

Procurement Analyst (IT/Sourcing): Supporting the delivery of a business-wide procurement and supplier management programme with an accent on sourcing activity, spend analysis, and commercial optimization. Focus on running RFQs/RFPs, evaluating supplier pricing models, and improving commercial outcomes for IT and SaaS spend.

Location: Hybrid - Minimum twice a week in-office attendance at the Worcester (UK) location

What you will do

  • Lead and support end-to-end sourcing activity, including running structured RFQs/RFPs and producing award recommendations.
  • Analyse spend data, pricing models, and cost drivers to identify savings and optimization opportunities.
  • Partner with budget holders as a trusted advisor to shape requirements and sourcing approaches.
  • Manage supplier onboarding, conduct due diligence, and maintain accurate contract data.
  • Track and report on procurement pipelines, cost avoidance, and commercial outcomes via dashboards.
  • Ensure all procurement activities align with internal policy, governance, and audit requirements.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in procurement, commercial, or analytical roles.
  • Strong working knowledge of IT and technology procurement (SaaS, cloud, software licensing, or managed services).
  • Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven ability to interpret complex spend data and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work from the Worcester office at least twice a week.

Nice to have

  • Working towards or holding a professional procurement qualification (e.g., CIPS).
