What you will do
- Coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to resolve issues during production testing and integration.
- Perform simulation, analysis, and testing to validate and optimize electrical designs for performance and reliability.
- Generate engineering change documentation and customer-facing records for hardware modifications.
- Support the transition of programs from the development phase to full production.
- Assist design engineering with cost reduction, prototyping, and testing activities.
- Travel up to 10% to various government test sites and supplier locations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of design experience focusing on hardware development and implementation.
- Knowledge of analog and digital circuit design, power electronics, RF, and/or signal processing.
- Experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and waveform generators.
- U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a necessary security clearance.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
Nice to have
- Experience with simulation tools like SPICE, PSpice, LTspice, Simulink, or LabVIEW.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as Altium Designer, Cadence, OrCAD, or Multisim.
- Programming skills in MATLAB, Java, and C.
- Experience with Root-Cause Corrective Action investigations.
