What you will do

• Provide technical direction, mentorship, and oversight to engineers and designers as a Supervising Lead.
• Analyze and recommend technical solutions for problems of advanced complexity in accordance with project requirements.
• Develop and review electrical specifications, design criteria, and construction documents through all project phases.
• Perform complex electrical system studies, including short circuit, load flow, stability, and grounding analysis.
• Coordinate technical issues with project management, vendors, and clients to ensure technical accuracy.
• Support procurement activities and construction administration, including RFI responses and evaluation of field changes.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical (Power) Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years of related electrical engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of federal (including Department of Energy), state, and local codes and standards.
• Significant experience providing Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services on large industrial projects.
• Proficiency with 3D modeling and 2D CADD tools in a multidiscipline environment.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience designing systems for nuclear facilities in accordance with ASME NQA-1 requirements.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical power systems and analysis software such as SmartPlant Electrical (SPEL) and ETAP.
• Experience supporting U.S. Department of Energy or other U.S. Federal Government agencies.
