What you will do

• Act as a subject matter expert on RF broad spectrum signals, AI/ML signal processing, and RF transmission devices.
• Research and evaluate emerging RF technologies and spectrum-monitoring tools for immediate insertion into Coast Guard programs.
• Optimize antennas and front-end RF hardware specifically for the maritime environment.
• Conduct technical assessments, feasibility studies, and produce technical reports and system models for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering and program management to guide system architecture and technology roadmaps.
• Test new technologies in laboratory settings for land, sea, or air operational environments.

Requirements

• US Citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance are mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 4+ years of C4I or RF engineering experience (or 8+ years of RF sensor support).
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Coast Guard RF sensor technologies or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of RF communications, spectrum management, and hardware architectures.
• Ability to travel up to 25% as required.
