Location: Hybrid (Norwalk, CT) - three in-office days (Monday–Wednesday)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end product development vision for hard and soft goods across online marketplaces and physical retail.
• Optimize development processes to enhance efficiency, accelerate launch timelines, and increase success rates of new introductions.
• Translate consumer insights, data, and market trends into long-term product roadmaps.
• Drive innovation through the introduction of new materials, designs, and product concepts.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure assortments meet retailer needs, pricing strategies, and channel differentiation.
• Lead, mentor, and build a growing organization across design, engineering, compliance, and innovation.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading innovative product development for both hard and soft goods.
• Experience with packaging, PLM systems, and working with Asian manufacturers on R&D.
• Background in mass-market everyday household products (e.g., kitchen, home, pet, baby, toys).
• Demonstrated success transitioning products from e-commerce into omnichannel and physical retail environments.
• Experience building and leading teams with design and engineering capabilities.
• Ability to travel approximately 15% per year for trade shows, factory visits, and retailer meetings.
