What you will do

• Lead safety projects for energy storage systems across a variety of industries and applications.
• Manage projects involving lithium-ion battery and semiconductor manufacturing technologies.
• Mentor, train, and support team members through technical guidance and knowledge sharing.
• Review and interpret engineering reports, including thermal runaway testing (UL 9540A), to support facility safety strategies.
• Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to develop practical, risk-informed safety solutions.
• Support business development initiatives by building strong client relationships and identifying growth opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Safety Management, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in industrial safety, process safety, or energy storage systems.
• Demonstrated experience managing safety projects within battery or semiconductor manufacturing environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for conveying technical concepts.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with energy storage safety standards such as NFPA 855.
• Knowledge of emergency preparedness, hazard mitigation, and electrical safety.
• Proficiency in risk assessment and modeling, including bowtie analysis.
• Experience with simulation tools such as CFD, FEA, or fire and smoke modeling.
