What you will do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for manufacturing digitalization initiatives.
• Manage complex, end-to-end projects ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
• Advise plants on the implementation of IoT and Industry 4.0 technologies.
• Calculate project benefits, including ROI and KPI improvements.
• Collaborate with IT and global support functions to drive digitalization strategy.
• Support a virtual team of digitalization specialists to foster transparency and information exchange.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5 years of manufacturing experience in automotive or mechatronic industries.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
• High competence with machine PLC systems (Siemens, KUKA, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley).
• Strong knowledge of machine protocols (OPC-UA, MQTT, Profibus/net).
• Practical understanding of software languages like SAP UI5 and HTML5.

Nice to have

• Experience with Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV).
