What you will do

• Configure, program, test, and troubleshoot PLC-based control systems and associated components.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting and testing of controls systems, control panels, and equipment.
• Program, debug, and continuously improve Fanuc Robots.
• Develop and troubleshoot Siemens HMIs using TIA Portal.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, maintenance, and quality groups to optimize safety, cost, and responsiveness.
• Integrate new technologies into existing system architectures.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to relocate to the US; GM does not provide immigration sponsorship.
• At least 2 years of experience in PLC Programming or Fanuc Robot programming.
• Proficiency with Siemens TIA Portal for HMI development.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and ability to assist in troubleshooting.
• Experience with servo drive systems, specifically Bosch and Rockwell Powerflex/Kinetix.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in industrial networking protocols (Profibus, ProfiNet, TCP/IP, and EtherNetIP).
• Experience with Allen Bradley Rockwell PLCs.
• Knowledge of vision systems such as Matrox, Fanuc, or Keyence.
• Experience with Rexroth servo drive systems.
