Group Accounting Intern (Finance)

Location: Hybrid (Málaga, Spain). Must be eligible to sign a formal internship agreement (Convenio de prácticas) with a university or educational institution for a minimum period of three months.

What you will do

• Assist Group Accountants in closing accounts and reports for all group entities.
• Handle highly sensitive and confidential data input and maintenance.
• Review and verify repository data to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Maintain checklists and dashboards tracking key KPIs.
• Coordinate with local accountants on entries and adherence to group policies.
• Capture outcomes during team meetings and track follow-up action items.

Requirements

• Eligible to sign a formal internship agreement (Convenio de prácticas) for at least three months.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or vocational training (FP) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
• Advanced or Business English proficiency (oral and written).
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work proactively and independently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Knowledge of group consolidations.
