What you will do

• Process and reconcile invoices and expense reports.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close activities.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and balance sheet checks.
• Maintain accurate records in the accounting system.
• Support the team with ad hoc financial reporting and analysis.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics.
• Solid understanding of core accounting principles (debits, credits, reconciliations).
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Fluent English proficiency.
• Ability to work from the Barcelona office (Hybrid).
• Confirmed university sign-off for the internship period.

Nice to have

• Prior internship or part-time experience in a finance or accounting function.
• Exposure to accounting software such as SAP, Xero, or NetSuite.
• Spanish language skills for local vendor communication.
• Interest in fintech, FX, or financial markets.
