Location: Must be based in London, UK (Hybrid)
Salary: £56,000 – £66,000pa (plus £5,441pa London Weighting)

What you will do
- Advise senior leaders, executives, and the Board on policy developments relevant to the Charter Review.
- Ensure leadership is informed on key policy issues and engagement strategies with DCMS and external stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with key internal business units and external stakeholders in government and industry.
- Draft high-quality reports, submissions, and responses to the UK Government, Ofcom, and EU institutions.
- Monitor media and news sector policy initiatives in the UK and EU to advise on organizational implications.
Requirements
- Proven ability to evaluate complex policy options and advise at Board-level.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills with experience influencing senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrable experience working with government departments or regulators on policy and regulatory issues.
- Ability to assess industry issues and understand the impact of regulatory intervention on market behavior.
- Experience managing project processes and work streams to a high standard of quality and timeliness.
Nice to have
- Strong understanding of public policy and regulatory frameworks applied to real-world situations.
- Clear understanding of the legislative and regulatory framework of the communications sector in the UK and internationally.
- Experience engaging with government and regulatory authorities on diverse policy issues.
