Salary: £51,000 - £61,000 per annum

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end technical delivery of Outside Broadcasts (OBs) as the primary on-site engineering contact to ensure high-standard live output.
• Manage and coach multi-disciplinary technical teams, providing day-to-day oversight and performance feedback.
• Oversee technical suppliers, managing KPIs, commercial agreements, and budgets to ensure value for money.
• Plan and deliver technical requirements for high-profile sporting events, including the Olympic Games, World Cup, and Wimbledon.
• Partner with production teams to advise on workflows, technical solutions, and broadcast planning risks.
• Drive innovation in connectivity and transmission solutions, contributing to the long-term technical strategy.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of outside broadcast engineering and professional experience as an on-site technical producer.
• Proven ability to effectively lead teams with outstanding operational awareness and judgement.
• Solid understanding of connectivity systems and various codec configurations.
• Ability to travel extensively to Outside Broadcast sites.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with production teams and external partners.
