What you will do

• Line manage mid-level, senior, and principal engineers: own hiring, onboarding, and professional growth.
• Shape company-wide engineering culture and best practices, fostering "you build it, you run it" environment.
• Define and execute technical strategy and roadmap for AI domain, partnering with Principal Engineer.
• Lead complex cross-squad technical programs, coordinating teams and managing dependencies.
• Ensure squad accountability for user value delivery using modern agile practices.

Requirements

• Based in London area for hybrid schedule (2-3 days/week in-office)
• Significant experience managing high-performing engineering teams and developing engineers at all levels.
• Track record in coordinating large-scale multi-team programs and stakeholder management.
• Technical background with credibility in systems like Scala and Kafka.
• Expert in modern agile practices and data-informed improvement.
• Strong communication and feedback skills across all business levels.
