What you will do

• Conceptualize and refine NPC archetypes to align with the core combat loop vision.
• Implement and fine-tune combat NPC behaviors using node graphs and behavior trees.
• Script and iterate on NPCs directly within the Snowdrop game engine.
• Partner with Tech, Art, and World teams to maximize NPC potential across all content.
• Collaborate with leads to plan tasks, assess risks, and manage development scope.
• Iterate on NPC designs based on playtest feedback to improve the combat experience.

Requirements

• Proven game development experience in the shooter genre, preferably on shipped 3rd-person titles.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing humanoid enemy NPCs.
• Proficiency with node-based tools and extensive hands-on experience with behavior trees.
• Strong ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Comprehensive understanding of iterative development and rapid prototyping methodologies.
