Location: Remote in Germany

What you will do

• Design and develop engaging enemy behaviors and AI systems for high-mobility multiplayer action.
• Create detailed design specifications, documentation, and technical implementation guidelines for AI features.
• Collaborate with gameplay engineers on NPC creation, scripting, and behavior tree development.
• Analyze gameplay data, heatmaps, and player feedback to identify opportunities for AI and gameplay improvements.
• Prototype and iterate on innovative AI concepts to enhance player engagement and game balance.
• Refine combat encounters, NPC interactions, and overall gameplay pacing.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in game design or AI gameplay development within multiplayer environments.
• Hands-on experience with Unreal Engine or equivalent AAA game development engines.
• Proficiency with blueprint scripting and AI behavior trees.
• Solid understanding of NPC behavior design and competitive multiplayer gameplay mechanics.
• Must be based in Germany.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across distributed teams.
