Associate UX Designer (Media)

TL;DR

Associate UX Designer (Product Design): Supporting the delivery of high-quality content interfaces across European markets with an accent on user research, interaction design, and the creation of UX artefacts. Focus on producing wireframes and prototypes, conducting usability testing, and iterating designs based on stakeholder feedback.

Location: Hybrid (London, UK) - 2 days per week in the Osterley office. Must have the appropriate right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not offered.

What you will do

• Support user research by assisting with usability testing, surveys, and interviews to understand customer needs.
• Gather and communicate user insights to inform and justify design decisions.
• Create UX artefacts, including wireframes, user flows, and simple prototypes.
• Contribute to the development of clear navigation, content layout, and intuitive user journeys.
• Apply usability and accessibility principles to ensure inclusive digital experiences.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers within an agile cross-functional team.

Requirements

• Foundational experience in UX, interaction design, or a related discipline.
• Portfolio of academic or commercial projects demonstrating core UX skills.
• Proficiency with design tools, specifically Figma.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design (UCD) principles and methods.
• Appropriate right to work in the UK (hirify.global does not offer sponsorship for this role).
• Strong communication skills and a growth mindset.
