What you will do

• Lead the build and delivery of remarkable digital products for large-scale projects.
• Champion software quality and technical vision for both the company and its clients.
• Translate business concerns into technical decisions while managing stakeholder challenges.
• Mentor junior engineers and support Squad Leads to maintain high quality standards.
• Implement and own best practices in architecture, DevOps, performance, and security.
• Write effective technical documentation and facilitate knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Proven commercial experience as a Lead Engineer.
• Expert understanding of Java and JavaScript (React).
• Strong experience with agile methodologies, TDD, SOLID, and XP.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD practices and deployments.
• Ability to provide technical guidance as the most senior engineer on a project.
• Must be able to work hybridly from Bristol, UK.
