What you will do

• Drive the strategic direction and execution of the investor relations function and financial communications.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the investment community, including buy-side and sell-side analysts.
• Lead the development of earnings releases, investor webcasts, and corporate presentations.
• Coordinate with Finance and Legal for compliant SEC filings (Form 10-K, 10-Q) and proxy statements.
• Manage the company's participation in investor conferences, non-deal roadshows, and analyst days.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor communications to inform strategic positioning.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive IR experience within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience supporting a publicly traded, preferably NASDAQ-listed company.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Deep understanding of the drug development lifecycle and SEC/Regulation FD requirements.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to create compelling PowerPoint narratives for senior leadership.
• Ability to travel approximately 25% for industry events.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree (PhD, MD, MBA, or MS in life sciences or finance).
• Experience in a clinical-stage or pre-commercial biotechnology environment.
• Established relationships within the biotech buy-side and sell-side community.
• Experience with Irwin investor relations software.
