What you will do

• Lead annual SOX risk assessment and scoping exercises to identify significant accounts and critical IT systems.
• Oversee documentation and testing of key financial cycles including Treasury, Lending Operations, and Revenue Recognition.
• Drive compliance strategy for IT General Controls (ITGC), focusing on Access Security and Change Management.
• Partner with Process Owners to design remediations for deficiencies and ensure compliance by design in new systems.
• Present quarterly status updates to the Audit Committee and Senior Management.
• Manage relationships with external audit firms to align testing results and minimize audit fatigue.

Requirements

• Experience supporting a publicly traded company is required.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in SOX compliance, internal audit, or public accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of SOX 404, COSO framework, SEC regulations, and PCAOB auditing standards.
• Deep proficiency in managing integrated internal controls across business process cycles and ITGCs.
• CPA, CIA, or CISA certification is strongly preferred.
