What you will do

• Maintain and upgrade combat system equipment for the Royal Australian Navy.
• Conduct fault finding, repair, and routine maintenance on electronic and electro-mechanical systems.
• Perform installation, connectivity testing, and commissioning of hardware at ship and shore installations.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with operating systems, drivers, and network configurations (LAN/WAN/VPN).
• Monitor system performance to ensure serviceability and operational accuracy.
• Lead small teams in routine work activities and coordinate support functions.

Requirements

• Australian citizenship is mandatory for security clearance eligibility.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1 level.
• Certificate III in Electronics and Communications Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience in the Defence industry, Defence Force, or maritime environment.
• Experience in circuit and wiring fault finding in industrial computing bus systems.
• Working at Heights certification and Construction Industry White Card.
