What you will do

• Design and implement scalable platform services using Terraform, Crossplane, and Helm.
• Develop "golden path" documentation and self-service patterns to improve the internal developer experience.
• Contribute to platform architectural discussions, focusing on EKS cluster patterns and GitOps.
• Enhance observability, alerting, and operational practices to ensure high reliability across services.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge through engineering guilds to elevate infrastructure standards.
• Evaluate infrastructure options with commercial awareness to identify cost-efficient solutions.

Requirements

• Advanced experience in platform engineering with strong fundamentals in cloud-native architecture.
• Proficiency in writing maintainable Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Crossplane).
• Hands-on experience with EKS, Helm, and GitOps patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling, specifically GitHub Actions.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity from Nottingham or London.
