Senior DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes)

Location: Hybrid & Remote; Offices in Malta, UK, Italy, Austria, Serbia, Romania, and UAE. Roles are generally not restricted by location.

What you will do

• Collaborate with developers to design and support CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and ArgoCD for microservices.
• Manage log ingestion pipelines and optimize resource allocation using Loki and Grafana.
• Configure and maintain monitoring dashboards and alerting systems via NewRelic for proactive issue detection.
• Operate and monitor application-supporting platforms such as ClickHouse, Kong, and Nginx.
• Support Apache Kafka clusters and backend API dependencies like Redis.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure production environment stability and resolve incidents promptly.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability role within complex production environments.
• Expert knowledge of container technologies and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Experience managing Helm charts and GitOps workflows, including proficiency in Bash scripting.
• Familiarity with backing services such as Redis, Kong, and ClickHouse.
• Strong understanding of networking, monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required.
