What you will do

• Design and develop backend infrastructure for system provisioning, data collection, and remote troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with robotics engineers to create robust interfaces between hardware and software systems.
• Build and orchestrate software across edge and cloud environments.
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Develop AI-driven fleet intelligence and monitoring capabilities.
• Write unit and integration tests to maintain high system reliability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in full stack development using Python and React or similar frameworks.
• Must be based in or able to commute to the San Francisco Bay Area.
• Experience building and operating complex distributed systems in domains like IoT, robotics, or automotive.
• Hands-on experience developing AI-enabled applications.
• Strong understanding of Linux systems and AWS.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Grafana or Datadog.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS IoT.
• Experience working with video streaming systems.
