What you will do

• Design and build high-performance, secure UI and APIs for AI-driven scientific applications.
• Develop and manage complex database architectures including SQL, NoSQL, and Vector databases.
• Drive full-stack implementation focusing on performance, maintainability, and system reliability.
• Optimize system bottlenecks to ensure high availability across large-scale workloads.
• Leverage AWS, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices for production-grade deployments.
• Collaborate with ML researchers and scientists to integrate data pipelines into scientific workflows.

Requirements

• 8-15 years of engineering experience in large-scale production systems.
• Full Stack proficiency with React, TypeScript, Python, and FastAPI.
• Proven ability to own complex backend challenges and architectural trade-offs.
• Experience using AI coding assistants to drive development productivity.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with scientists.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI agents, RAG pipelines, or LLM orchestration frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with data science libraries like PyTorch, JAX, or NumPy.
• Background in laboratory software, robotics, or scientific instrumentation.
