What you will do

• Manage the full lifecycle of foreclosure and default-related claims, including preparation, submission, tracking, and resolution.
• File and monitor claims with investors and insurers such as FHA/HUD, VA, USDA, PMI, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac.
• Oversee property preservation and REO servicing activities to ensure adherence to CFPB regulations and investor guidelines.
• Conduct root cause analysis on denied or curtailed claims and implement corrective actions.
• Reconcile claim proceeds and ensure accurate system and general ledger posting.
• Track and report performance metrics, including recovery rates, timelines, and vendor effectiveness.

Requirements

• 3–6+ years of experience in foreclosure claims and property preservation.
• Strong working knowledge of Agency/government claims (FHA Part A/B, VA, USDA) and GSE requirements (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac).
• Experience with mortgage servicing platforms, specifically MSP/ICE.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
• Must be based in one of the following states: AR, FL, IA, KS, MI, MO, NE, OK, TN, or TX.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with GNMA (FHA, USDA, VA) Foreclosure Claims.
• Experience in claims audit, QC, or supporting regulatory exams.
• Expertise in advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, lookups, data validation).
