TL;DR

Associate - CRE Loan Servicing (Finance): Managing a portfolio of Corporate Real Estate loans and supporting loan lifecycle events with an accent on credit risk assessment and financial analysis. Focus on managing consent requests, waivers, and amendments for a diverse client base including FTSE 250 companies.

Location: Hybrid (London, Birmingham, or Edinburgh). Must spend at least 40% of time in the office.

What you will do

  • Manage a portfolio of long-dated commercial real estate loans under a servicing contract.
  • Coordinate with Lender, Coverage, Execution, and Credit Risk teams to maintain portfolio performance.
  • Handle loan lifecycle events including consent requests, waivers, amendments, and annual reviews.
  • Prepare credit papers and conduct detailed financial analysis to monitor emerging risks.
  • Engage directly with a diverse client base, from private businesses to FTSE 250 listed companies.
  • Work with internal teams and external advisers to ensure smooth deal delivery.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of credit experience in Corporate Banking, including financial analysis and risk assessment.
  • Experience preparing credit papers and familiarity with LMA documentation.
  • Proven experience supporting complex loan lifecycle events such as waivers, amendments, and renewals.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability.
  • Strong communication skills for effective engagement with clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
