What you will do

• Perform electrical studies including power flow, short circuit, protection coordination, and transient/dynamic analysis using RTDS, PSCAD, PSSE, and PSLF.
• Develop technical specifications for generation and transmission projects, including renewable energy and HVDC systems.
• Provide technical support for the operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance analysis of HVDC and FACTS systems.
• Design various power generation and transmission systems and prepare detailed technical reports and presentations.
• Author technical papers and represent the company at professional conferences.
• Support business development by identifying market opportunities, preparing proposals, and fostering client relationships.

Requirements

• Minimum 12 years of experience in Electrical Engineering or a related field with a focus on power systems.
• Technical expertise in HVDC, FACTS, generators, and transmission lines.
• Proficiency in simulation software such as PSCAD, RTDS, PSSE, PSLF, EMTP, or Easy Power.
• Willingness and ability to travel to project sites, including remote locations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of operations, maintenance, and switching requirements for electrical systems.
• Strong critical and creative thinking skills for solving complex engineering challenges.
