What you will do

• Lead packaging projects from ideation through commercialization to meet design and performance criteria.
• Design, prototype, and validate new packaging materials and technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing and distribution efficiencies.
• Plan and execute plant, pilot plant, and lab trials to document and present technical results.
• Mentor and manage associate engineers while acting as a subject matter expert.
• Negotiate with external suppliers and partners to drive innovation and business growth.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Packaging, Engineering, or related field (MS preferred).
• 5+ years of work experience in the packaging industry, preferably in CPG.
• Proficiency in 2D/3D design software such as AutoCAD, ArtiosCad, or SolidWorks.
• Understanding of food safety, sanitary design, and government regulatory requirements.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Valid US Drivers license and ability to meet company driving standards.
