What you will do

• Monitor and verify that food production adheres to strict safety and quality standards.
• Enforce FDA, USDA, and local regulatory frameworks through daily facility walks and health department readiness checks.
• Develop and implement food safety programs, internal assessments, and Chef audits.
• Train employees and Chef teams on GMPs, sanitation, and safe food handling protocols.
• Collaborate with Culinary Operations, Supply Chain, and Sanitation teams to integrate food safety throughout production.
• Identify potential safety risks and execute proactive risk-mitigation plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Safety, or equivalent experience in a high-compliance environment.
• Certifications such as HACCP, PCQI, or Certified Food Safety Manager (CFSM).
• Proven experience in food safety or quality control.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Atlanta, Georgia.
