TL;DR

Technical Program Manager: Overseeing end-to-end governance and execution of complex, multi-workstream technology programs with an accent on stakeholder alignment, budget management, and enterprise-scale delivery. Focus on establishing governance frameworks, managing interdependencies, and driving measurable business outcomes across the organization.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid: 2-3 days in-office)

What you will do

  • Manage consolidated plans for multi-workstream technology programs to ensure delivery of business benefits.
  • Establish and maintain governance protocols, including scope, budget, and change management standards.
  • Identify, track, and resolve interdependencies, risks, and blockers across cross-functional teams.
  • Forecast and oversee labor, software, and hardware spend to support business case development.
  • Coordinate Steering Committee meetings and prepare executive-level status reports.
  • Partner with peer program managers to ensure alignment across related initiatives and portfolios.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • 8–12+ years of progressive experience in program or project management within a technology organization.
  • Proven success managing multi-project programs with complex stakeholder dependencies.
  • Strong understanding of governance frameworks, software management practices, and executive reporting.
  • Expertise with project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or Asana.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification.
