Customer Service Representative

TL;DR

Customer Service Representative (Fintech): Providing support for student loan inquiries and payment processing with an accent on delivering a superior customer experience. Location: Must be based in Lincoln, NE (within a 60-mile radius). Training is onsite, with potential for hybrid work after meeting performance milestones.

Salary: $16.50/hour (plus potential incentive pay).

What you will do

• Interact with customers via inbound/outbound calls, email, chat, and text.
• Track, troubleshoot, and update customer account information using internal systems.
• Educate borrowers on student loan components, including interest rates and credit reporting.
• Research and resolve inquiries in accordance with established laws and policies.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure continuous process improvement.
• Maintain data integrity and handle sensitive information with high accuracy.

Requirements

• Must be a United States citizen.
• Must have resided in the United States for 3 of the past 5 years.
• Must obtain and maintain a favorable Federal clearance (5C).
• Must not be delinquent or in default with any federal debt.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic business math.
