Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 Annually

What you will do
- Lead the engineering and execution of migrating legacy T1 lines to modern MPLS networks.
- Configure and optimize Cisco Catalyst 8300 edge platforms and 9200L switches.
- Architect and deploy dual-homed HSRP redundancy frameworks across primary network hubs.
- Analyze routing, bandwidth, QoS, and latency implications of network transitions.
- Develop low-level designs (LLDs) and network topology diagrams for critical hubs.
- Conduct technical root cause analysis and performance tuning during circuit cutover phases.
Requirements
- 9+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Active Secret Clearance.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+).
- Deep expertise in T1 to MPLS migration and Cisco C8300/C9200L hardware.
- Proven experience with Layer 3 redundancy using HSRP in enterprise topologies.
- Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Alexandria, VA.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) or Department of Homeland Security (DHS) programs.
- Advanced certifications such as CCNP or CCIE.
- Advanced knowledge of WAN architecture, traffic engineering, and failover optimization.
