TL;DR

Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist (Legal AI): Managing full-cycle technical recruitment for software and data engineering roles within a high-growth legal AI company with an accent on sourcing passive candidates and scaling technical teams. Focus on executing creative hiring strategies, partnering with business leaders, and ensuring a high-quality candidate experience across global geographies.

Location: Hybrid; local employees in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Dublin, London, New York City, and Sydney are expected to be in the office at least twice per week.

Salary: $78,200 – $105,800 CAD

What you will do

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for technical roles, including Software Developers, Data Engineers, and Systems Engineers.
  • Drive high-volume candidate pipelines across multiple global geographies.
  • Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to execute hiring strategies and meet quarterly targets.
  • Source passive candidates using creative, multichannel approaches (inbound, outbound, referrals, events).
  • Ensure a seamless, professional, and values-driven candidate experience.

Requirements

  • Full-cycle technical recruiting experience in rapid-growth or high-velocity environments.
  • Proven track record of sourcing, nurturing, and hiring passive candidates.
  • Strong knowledge of the Canadian tech community, particularly in Toronto and/or Vancouver.
  • Ability to drive decision-making and behavioral change using data.
  • Strategic, problem-solving mindset with a consultative approach to recruitment.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Workday ATS.
  • Background in both agency and in-house recruitment.
  • Experience championing diversity and inclusion programs or initiatives.
