TL;DR

Head of Partner Programs (AI): Designing and managing the global partner program portfolio with an accent on tier economics, incentive design, and cross-functional execution. Focus on building v1 program frameworks, optimizing partner unit economics, and scaling the Claude Partner Network.

Location: Hybrid (San Francisco, CA) - must be in office at least 25% of the time

Salary: $300,000 - $355,000 USD

What you will do

  • Own the global partner program portfolio, including tier structure, incentive mechanics, and program economics.
  • Lead the FY27 partner program planning cycle in collaboration with Finance.
  • Launch at least one new program track (ISV, industry specialization, or net-new) within six months.
  • Refine tier economics based on partner behavior and deployed consumption data.
  • Draft comprehensive program memos to secure approval from Finance, Legal, Enablement, and Ops.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for partner principals regarding program structure.

Requirements

  • Proven experience building a partner program from scratch, including writing v1 memos and establishing foundational assumptions.
  • Deep fluency in partner economics (rebate envelopes, unit economics, run-rate floors, and anti-stack rules).
  • Ability to defend complex financial modeling to senior finance stakeholders.
  • Exceptional written communication skills for structured memos on complex design problems.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

  • 7+ years of experience in partner programs, channel strategy, or bizdev at a high-growth software company.
  • Experience with mature partner ecosystems such as AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, or Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of deployed-consumption partner economics vs. bookings-based models.
  • Experience designing industry specialization programs or working with GSI and SI partner motions.
