What you will do

• Manage disability claim adjudication from the initial decision to the final case management plan.
• Coordinate with claimants, employers, and medical providers to monitor treatment and recovery progress.
• Assess key dates in the claim lifecycle and ensure case management plans are updated regularly.
• Render timely and potentially difficult decisions while managing escalations with employers and claimants.
• Build effective relationships with physicians, lawyers, and HR professionals to support return-to-work efforts.
• Utilize electronic case management systems to track files and maintain accurate detailed notes.

Requirements

• University degree or college diploma (Occupational Health, Disability Management, Kinesiology, HR, or Legal studies are assets).
• Bilingualism in English and French is required.
• Must be based in Canada (specifically in Ontario, Québec, New Brunswick, or Nova Scotia).
• Demonstrated ability to make critical decisions and solve problems in a professional setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Strong technical aptitude to navigate multiple software applications simultaneously.

• Work experience related to disability claims management or insurance benefits.
