What you will do

• Provide leadership to teams responsible for Life and Critical Illness, medical consultants, and training.
• Design and maintain Curated Care pathways and disability management frameworks.
• Oversee training strategy and governance for claims, appeals, and litigation.
• Establish governance models for external providers to ensure performance and quality metrics.
• Define and prioritize AI and technology requirements for core platforms like FINEOS.
• Drive strategic change and organizational alignment through innovative problem-solving.

Requirements

• University degree in healthcare, business, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in group insurance, specifically in disability case management.
• Proven track record of coaching and developing senior managers and leaders.
• Strong knowledge of Life & Critical Illness benefit lines and litigation processes.
• Must be based in Canada with the ability to work in a hybrid or remote capacity.
• Bilingualism (English/French) is considered a strong asset.
