What you will do

• Design, build, and deliver backend systems and APIs in Go, emphasizing clarity and maintainability.
• Build and maintain full-stack product features, contributing to both frontend (React/TypeScript) and backend (Go) code.
• Provide technical leadership by defining patterns and operational guidelines.
• Collaborate across disciplines within a product triad model, iterating based on user feedback.
• Support and own your software in production, participating in on-call rotations.
• Communicate clearly and mentor engineers to enhance team effectiveness.

Requirements

• Deep experience designing, building, and maintaining backend systems with Go.
• Frontend proficiency with React and TypeScript.
• Experience leading complex technical projects spanning multiple teams or systems.
• Demonstrated ownership and autonomy in identifying problems and proposing solutions.
• A track record of mentoring engineers and raising the quality bar for a team.
• Clear, open communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Must be based in the United States.
• An interest in observability and production culture.
