What you will do

• Facilitate multi-disciplinary Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) sessions using established methodologies to ensure consensus-driven outcomes.
• Identify and evaluate risks in complex chemical systems to ensure comprehensive hazard identification.
• Document and track PHA findings, recommendations, and action items with high analytical rigor.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) sessions following incidents to implement actionable corrective measures.
• Train and coach cross-functional teams on PHA methodologies and safety standards.
• Collaborate with ESHA and operations teams to improve process safety systems and support digitalization initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health, Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in process safety or chemical manufacturing with strong hazard recognition capability.
• Deep understanding of chemical processes, risk assessment methodologies, and process safety management systems.
• Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Louisville, Kentucky, USA.

Nice to have

• Certification in PHA methodologies (e.g., HAZOP, What-If, FMEA).
• ASP certification.
