Transactions Consultant (Energy & Infrastructure)

TL;DR

Transactions Consultant (Energy & Infrastructure): Conducting technical due diligence for renewable energy, conventional generation, oil & gas, and water assets with an accent on data analysis and technical assessment reports. Focus on collecting asset data, performing site visits, and developing project management capabilities for lenders and investors.

Location: Hybrid in US offices (3 days per week)

What you will do

• Contribute to technical due diligence engagements for various assets including renewable energy, oil & gas, and water projects.
• Collect and analyze technical data to develop comprehensive assessment reports for lenders and investors.
• Conduct site visits and field observations to evaluate equipment condition and plant performance.
• Translate complex technical analyses into written reports and professional presentations.
• Develop and maintain strong client contacts and gradually take on project management responsibilities.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams of engineers and financial analysts on concurrent projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (Engineering or technical degrees preferred).
• 4+ years of experience in a business or consulting environment.
• Solid knowledge of power generation, renewable energy (Solar PV, Wind, BESS), or oil & gas technologies.
• Experience with plant engineering, design, inspections, or financial analysis models.
• Ability to operate multiple software packages and collaborate within team functions.
• Must be able to complete pre-employment background checks and drug screening.
