TL;DR

Account Executive (SaaS): Driving sales activities and revenue growth within the mid-market financial services segment in Canada with an accent on new logo acquisition and C-suite relationship management. Location: Must be based in Canada (Option for fully remote, hybrid, or onsite in Toronto)

Salary: Base 100,000 CAD, OTE 220,000 CAD

What you will do

  • Own sales execution and performance within the allocated Canadian territory to meet or exceed ARR targets.
  • Drive quarterly and annual net new software revenue through proactive prospecting and pipeline development.
  • Manage complex sales cycles, including multi-stage presentations, demonstrations, and proofs of concept.
  • Collaborate with Solution Consulting, Professional Services, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and forecasting using Salesforce, Salesloft, and LinkedIn.
  • Represent the Vena brand at industry conferences and customer events.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Canada.
  • 3+ years of success in Regional Sales Manager roles working with Finance teams in mid-market or larger organizations.
  • 5+ years total experience in quota-carrying frontline sales within high-growth SaaS or enterprise vendors (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday).
  • Proven track record in new logo acquisition and territory development.
  • Ability to build sustained relationships with C-suite Finance stakeholders.
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools such as Salesforce, SalesLoft, and LinkedIn.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience selling to a Finance audience.
  • Expertise or knowledge in Finance Process and Accounting.
