What you will do
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 4 laboratory employees to meet performance and quality goals.
- Oversee laboratory operations, including testing methods, equipment maintenance, and calibration.
- Manage plant quality systems to ensure compliance with ISO and audit requirements.
- Conduct root cause investigations using tools such as 8D, SPC, and Pareto analysis.
- Manage incoming raw material verification and finished product quality control.
- Partner with Operations to implement Lean and Six Sigma continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, chemical, or quality-focused roles.
- Demonstrated experience supervising employees and managing performance outcomes.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and data analysis tools.
- Authorization to work in the United States is required.
Nice to have
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, chemical, or pharmaceutical environments.
- Experience managing customer and supplier quality relationships.
- Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Certification or applied experience in Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
