What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 4 laboratory employees to meet performance and quality goals.
• Oversee laboratory operations, including testing methods, equipment maintenance, and calibration.
• Manage plant quality systems to ensure compliance with ISO and audit requirements.
• Conduct root cause investigations using tools such as 8D, SPC, and Pareto analysis.
• Manage incoming raw material verification and finished product quality control.
• Partner with Operations to implement Lean and Six Sigma continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, chemical, or quality-focused roles.
• Demonstrated experience supervising employees and managing performance outcomes.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and data analysis tools.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, chemical, or pharmaceutical environments.
• Experience managing customer and supplier quality relationships.
• Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Certification or applied experience in Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
