What you will do

• Tag bulk product containers and pallets according to company and department policies.
• Perform attribute grade analysis on bulk and finished products based on USDA grade criteria.
• Sample products and facilities to establish microbial presence and tolerance.
• Verify the proper function of key plant systems, including blanching, freezing, sanitizing, and chlorination.
• Audit production processes such as cutting, blanching, and freezing.
• Communicate variances and excessive tolerances to supervisory personnel while complying with safety policies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 to 6 months of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to calculate figures such as proportions, percentages, area, and volume.
• Basic personal computer skills.
• English: Ability to read, write and comprehend English is required.
