Senior Civil/Structural Estimator (Engineering): Responsible for the direction and preparation of complex cost estimates for infrastructure projects in advanced generation, battery storage, and solar energy with an accent on lump sum and unit rate analysis. Focus on managing multi-disciplinary professionals, maintaining estimating databases, and performing analytical reviews of project costings.

Location: Must be based in the US (multiple offices available). Hybrid options may be offered after the first 90 days.

Salary: $140,343 – $220,572 per year

What you will do

• Lead and prepare lump sum, unit rate, and cost-plus estimates for advanced generation, battery storage, and utility solar projects.
• Perform detailed analytical reviews of estimates to support proposals and project controls.
• Manage multiple professionals and oversee complex project estimating workflows.
• Maintain and optimize the Estimating database to create process efficiencies.
• Coordinate the training and development of early-career professionals.
• Travel to active project sites to perform audits and quality checks.

Requirements

• 8 to 20 years of relevant experience.
• 3 to 5 years of dedicated Estimating experience.
• Proven field and/or project experience in industrial sectors.
• Strong technical skillset in Civil and Structural engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Must be authorized to work in the US; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• BS or MS degree in Construction Management or a related field.
• Experience with estimating software such as SAGE Timberline or InEight.
