What you will do

• Structure, analyze, and execute transactions for companies in the natural resources sector.
• Perform proprietary financial modeling including M&A, DCF, and LBO valuations.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of junior professionals, reviewing their modeling and presentations.
• Manage live deal execution, including due diligence and negotiation of legal documents with lawyers and buyers.
• Interact with senior management and clients (CEO/CFO) to provide updates and strategic financing advice.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in financial modeling and transaction execution.
• Expertise in operating models, M&A/LBO valuations, and GAAP/non-GAAP principles.
• Proven experience executing M&A transactions and preparing Board presentations.
• Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
• Must be based in New York, NY.
